WASHINGTON (AP) ? Rick Santorum on Sunday condemned what he called President Barack Obama's world view that "elevates the Earth above man" and requires insurers to pay for prenatal tests that will encourage more abortions.
A day after telling an Ohio audience that Obama's agenda is based on "some phony theology, not a theology based on the Bible," the GOP presidential candidate said he wasn't criticizing the president's Christianity.
"I've repeatedly said I don't question the president's faith. I've repeatedly said that I believe the president's Christian," Santorum told CBS' "Face the Nation."
"I am talking about his world view, and the way he approaches problems in this country. I think they're different than how most people do in America," he said in the broadcast interview.
The former Pennsylvania senator said Obama's environmental policies promote ideas of "radical environmentalists," who, Santorum argues, oppose greater use of the country's natural resources because they believe "man is here to serve the Earth." He said that was the reference he was making Saturday in his Ohio campaign appearance when he denounced a "phony theology."
"I think that is a phony ideal. I don't believe that is what we're here to do," Santorum said. "We're not here to serve the Earth. The Earth is not the objective. Man is the objective."
Obama's campaign said Santorum's remarks were another attack on the president's faith by Republican rivals in a nominating contest that has grown increasingly bitter and negative.
"It's just time to get rid of this mindset in our politics that, if we disagree, we have to question character and faith," said Robert Gibbs, Obama's former press secretary, on ABC's "This Week."
"Those days have long passed in our politics. Our problems and our challenges are far too great," Gibbs said.
Santorum said his claim that Obama's health care overhaul encourages abortions stems from the fact that insurance companies are required to pay for prenatal testing, which he said will result in more pregnant women having more procedures. He specified amniocentesis, a procedure that can identify physical problems in the unborn.
"The bottom line is a lot of prenatal tests are done to identify deformities in utero and the customary procedure is to encourage abortion," he said.

They thought it was gross and, more than that, had Julie achieved her goal, she could have easily knocked my nieces to the ground and injured them without even trying.
When I tried kissing the bay minis, their behavior became even nastier. They loved the kisses, but thought it was a game and wouldn?t stop coming at me with their mouths, sometimes with teeth bared.
As a result, I felt the hand feeding, muzzle petting and kissing had to come to an end. Maybe an occasional smooch or treat will be OK, but definitely not more than once a week. My horses are too smart and develop bad habits too quickly.

When I tried this experiment, it was late January and Julie was covered with mud and I was lazy. It happened to be a day in the mid-50s even though it was January. I talked my dad into giving me a leg up and went for a ride.
There were several things I forgot. It was January. Julie hadn?t been ridden or driven in months. She has probably been ridden less than 20 times in her life.
Julie was standing so quietly in her mud lot that I was lured into a feeling of security. It didn?t last for long. She crow hopped and bucked and even reared once. It probably wouldn?t have bothered me so much, as it was January, on a light horse but I was bareback and on a draft. I?m not sure how I avoided falling.
Julie definitely had spring fever. Once the ride was over. I was barely able to keep control of her while walking her back to the barn.

A Bangkok court has approved arrest warrants for all three suspects, as well as an Iranian woman named Leila Rohani who rented the destroyed house. However, Rohani has left Thailand and is now in Tehran, according to the top immigration police official, Lt. Gen. Wiboon Bangthamai.

At the time, authorities insisted Thailand was only being used as a staging ground for attacks, but was not the target. The man led police to a warehouse near Bangkok packed with more than 8,800 pounds (4,000 kilograms) of urea fertilizer and other materials that could be used to make bombs.
After that incident, Israel and the United States warned their citizens to be alert. The U.S. Embassy said foreign terrorists may have been looking to attack tourist areas in Bangkok and Thai media reported the attacks were aimed at Israeli targets, including the Israeli Embassy.
Thai officials say it is not clear if the two incidents are connected.
On Wednesday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu denounced the violence.
"If this aggression isn't halted, ultimately it will spread to many other countries," Netanyahu said in Israel's parliament Wednesday. He convened his Security Cabinet to discuss terrorism against Israel and "Iran's involvement in repeated attempts to attack Israeli targets," his office said.
Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast called the allegations baseless and said Israel was trying to damage his country's relations with Thailand and fuel conspiracy theories. Iran has blamed the Jewish state for the recent killings of Iranian atomic scientists.

"The European Commission conducted a thorough investigation of the acquisition, in which Cisco actively participated, and approved the deal in a 36-page decision without any conditions," Microsoft said in a statement.
Cisco wants the General Court of the EU to check whether the Commission was right in clearing the Skype takeover without any concessions. It argues that the Commission should have required Microsoft to guarantee open standards for video conferencing, similar to what exists for mobile phone calls.
Such standards would eventually allow users of Cisco video phones to make calls to users of Skype and other services like Google Voice.
De Beer said that without these standards, Microsoft could "seek to control the future of video communications."
"Making a video-to-video call should be as easy as dialing a phone number," De Beer wrote. "Today, however, you can't make seamless video calls from one platform to another, much to the frustration of consumers and business users alike."
But Cisco fears that Microsoft will end up blocking Skype for users of other services, especially if it starts charging businesses for teleconferencing.
Skype, with roughly 170 million users, is by far the most popular voice-over-Internet service.

Forty percent of the participants had "neurocognitive impairment" -- reduced mental function such as poor memory and/or concentration. These patients also had a waist measuring an average of 39 inches.
In contrast, patients with normal mental function had an average waist size of 35 inches.
The study appears in the Feb. 14 issue of the journal Neurology.
"Avoiding those HIV drugs that cause larger waistlines might protect or help to reverse [mental impairment]," McCutchan said. "We don't know if central obesity is causing [the problem] directly or is just a marker for exposure to a more direct cause such as anti-HIV drugs. People with HIV should talk to their doctors before considering changes in their anti-HIV medications."
The study authors pointed out that reduced mental function was also linked to older age, a longer time living with HIV and diabetes in patients older than 55.
