Broadway, here they come!
If you thought May was the last time you’d ever think or hear about NBC’s Smash, think again!
No, unfortunately the show isn’t coming back on the air (seriously, NBC?!), but we have even better news!
Remember the underdog musical Hit List created by Jeremy Jordan and Andy Mientus’s characters Jimmy Collins and Kyle Bishop?
Well, they’re back along with Krysta Rodriguez to debut Hit List on 54 Below, Broadway’s Supper Club in New York!
The fictional-turned-reality musical will include music from Smash along with additional songs!
The synopsis of Hit List is described as:
”A modern fable about identity and the price of fame that tells the tragic love story of a wannabe pop singer who transforms herself to become a star and the hidden songwriter she uses to get there - but at what cost?”
We can’t wait!!
Apparently there will also be special appearances and additional performers to be announced later.
Does this mean Katharine McPhee will be returning to her role as Nina?!
Maybe you guys can write in some roles for Jennifer Hudson and Megan Hilty!!
We’re just going to keep refreshing until tickets become available. LOLz!
